Shiprocket is a logistics software company that aims to help e-commerce sellers find the right courier service provider for their orders and make managing and tracking shipments easier.

Shiprocket has partnered with multiple courier service providers and provides e-commerce sellers with a platform from which they can manage their orders by selecting the right courier partner for delivering their shipments.

Shiprocket was founded by the team of Saahil Goel, Gautam Kapoor and Vishesh Khurana.

Shiprocket Revenue Model:

As discussed above, Shiprocket is a logistics software service provider.

As a logistics aggregation platform, Shiprocket brings together multiple logistics service providers to help users (e-commerce sellers) choose the right courier service provider for their needs.

Shiprocket provides the automated interface that helps connect e-commerce sellers with the right courier service provider. Shiprocket has no role to play in the actual pickup and delivery of the shipment; which is taken care of by the courier service provider.

As an enabler of transaction, Shiprocket makes money from every shipment that is enabled/moved through their platform.

Shiprocket also provides fee-based subscription options for medium to large sellers which offers them negotiated shipping rates, multiple e-commerce channel integrations and priority support.

Shiprocket allows Integrations with e-commerce platforms like Amazon and ebay and online store management platforms like Shopify and opencart. These integrations helps e-commerce sellers manage shipments by importing orders directly from connected e-commerce channels.

Apart from the above, Shiprocket also offers various fee-based value added services to their customers. These include:

Shiprocket Fulfilment: Shiprocket offers warehousing services/storage facilities to sellers to help them to deliver shipments faster to their consumers.

Early COD: Shiprocket offers an fee based Early COD (cash on delivery) service with which a seller can get cash remittance as early as in just 2 days from the date of order delivery.

Packaging Store: Shiprocket also operate an online store where they sell packaging materials.
